SDAI

Is a 10,000 square-foot state-of-the-art gallery space, located in the heart of scenic Balboa Park, a botanical Jewel and the centerpiece of the city of San Diego. Balboa Park attracts 12 million visitors annually to its 32 cultural organizations. SDAI, a 65 year old nonprofit, is dedicated to the advancement of the visual arts through outreach, education and exhibition. The San Diego and Northern Baja Region is home to many high tech corporations as well as an outstanding arts community. Although SDAI supports the creation of all fine art styles and for 48 years has produced an all media international exhibition, we feel it is important to lend exposure to the dynamic media of digital art. SDAI has joined forces with Sony to produce and host this International Digital Exhibition 2006, the only International all digital exhibition in the region.
The Exhibition opening reception is celebrated with a formal evening gala. Honors are presented to the nine award-winning artists by the juror and the president of the SDAI Board of Directors.
Open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 4pm: Sunday from noon to 4pm. Admission: $3 for adults, $2 for seniors / military / students with ID, Children 12 and under are free. For more information, please
call 619.236.0011.
